Abstract
The present research aimed to understand the configuration of social
representations of the categories of justice, gender roles and cultural values through the
consumption of anime in a group of students who are frequent viewers of anime at the
Universidad Antonio Nariño, under a qualitative methodological framework of exploratory descriptive scope with a phenomenological design and historical-hermeneutic approach. In this way, the participation of a group of 10 psychology students was summoned, based on a previous sociodemographic characterization of the psychology faculty at the UAN at national level regarding the viewing and consumption of anime; carrying out 4 focus groups where the constructions that the students elaborated of each category of work through their consumption of anime were explored.
