Abstract
A study was carried out whose purpose was to create a parental involvement strategy as mediation for the resolution of school conflicts, a phenomenological design with descriptive scope was applied in which parents, students and classroom teacher of the fourth grade of the primary school participated. IE Manuel José Mosquera, who participated voluntarily, for the collection of information, two focus groups were conducted, one aimed at parents and the other aimed at students and an unstructured open-ended interview aimed at teachers, instruments that allowed knowing the experience they have regarding parental involvement, conflicts and some strategies to involve parents in mediation processes of school conflicts, elements that allow us to resemble that parental involvement at home and at school is a strategy for mediation of academic and socio-emotional conflicts or coexistence
