Abstract
Education is a right of the person and a public service that has a social function; with it, access to knowledge, science, technology, and other goods and values of culture is sought ([Const.], 1991, Art. 67). Currently in the city of Bogotá, in the zonal planning unit 84 of Locality 7 of Bosa, it is identified from studies of the secretary of education, the increase in the insufficiency of school coverage, creating a negative impact for the population. The purpose of this work as a degree project is to carry out the architectural design of an educational facility. In the methodology for the development of this project, the analysis resulting from the information collected about the study area was implemented, taking into account problems that can be solved from the architecture and the use of ideologies and trends of the reinvention of the design of educational spaces, taking into account theoretical references, conferences, interviews and articles by experts and connoisseurs on this context; as well as other equipment for learning knowledge. As a reference, this project seeks to encourage the transformation of a space in UPZ 84 Bosa Occidental, generating the contribution to mitigate the deficit of educational quotas that the school population currently presents and generate integration through architecture with public spaces and green areas, creating social and cultural impact from improving and increasing the quality and level of learning and knowledge.
