Abstract
The general objective of this research study was to analyze the type of relationship between the organizational climate and the communication dimension of the officials of the National Tax and Customs Directorate of Buenaventura. The methodology used consisted of a non-experimental, cross-sectional, quantitative design with a correlational scope. To respond to what was stated, the Multidimensional Assertiveness Scale (EMA) and the Instrument for Measuring Climate in Colombian Organizations (IMCOC) were applied, which had in the heading some questions that allowed the characterization to be carried out. These instruments were applied to thirty people belonging to the organization's work team. To analyze whether there was a relationship between these two variables, the Spearman correlation was used and it was possible to conclude that there is a null correlation between the variables.
