El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito analizar los límites, roles y relaciones afectivas de familias que tienen un integrante diagnosticado con trastorno del espectro autista. Este estudio se desarrolló con la participación de tres madres residentes en la ciudad de Bucaramanga – Santander y una madre en la Mesa – Cundinamarca. Para alcanzar lo anterior, se empleó una metodología cualitativa, con diseño narrativo que permitió profundizar en la vivencia de la familia, a través de las narrativas proporcionadas por madres de niños con TEA, además, mediante la utilización la entrevista abierta se exploraron las posibles modificaciones de la dinámica familiar después del diagnóstico.

Abstract
This investigation aims to analyze the limits, roles and affective relationships of families in which one member has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. This research was developed with the participation of three mothers who reside in Bucaramanga – Santander and one from La Mesa – Cundinamarca, two of them assist to the Rómulo y Rémulo Corporation. In order to reach this goal, the investigation used a qualitative investigation method, with a narrative design which allowed it to deepen in the family experiences, through the narratives provided by mothers of children with autism, moreover, through the usage of open interviews this investigation explored the possible modification in the family dynamics after the diagnosis.
