Item Ardea Alba: centro de educación para jóvenes y adultos en Garzón (Huila)(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Pedroza Zapata, Maria Fernanda; Alvarez Rivera, Adriana MilenaIlliteracy is a problem that affects both society and the development of a sector, for this reason this topic is adopted due to the figures affected by the municipality of Garzón - Huila, given that it is a municipality with a high potential for agricultural resources , where Its main taxpayers are affected by this problem. The level of illiteracy of the municipality was valued at a figure of 19.1% of illiterate people, mainly affecting people in the rural sector who are the least fortunate to receive a corresponding academic process, due to the low level of interest in educational level. , since his interests lie in generating economic income, so he retired to the field at age 15, starting his working life at an early age, since it is the main activity of the sector. , leaving aside any academic process, thus raising illiteracy rates. (DANE, 2005). Analyzing the figures “Due to the illiteracy processes developed by the national government as of 2014, there was a decrease (in relation to the 2005 census), with a percentage of 5.63%” (DANE, 2019). It is intended to carry out through this work the development of an educational center for both the people of the municipality of Garzón, both urban and rural, and, in turn, to the neighboring municipalities, to cover the largest possible number of population to provide better social and individual development.
