Abstract
The high turnover of personnel for organizations is defined as the constant change of people
between each area of the company and its environment, or it also refers to the volume of
employees that enter the organization or that of those who leave it, this is expressed through the
percentage relationship between admissions and withdrawals, and the average of the workers
who belong to the company in a certain period or also known as the Personnel Turnover Index
Chiavenato (1999); The objective of this research project was to identify the main factors of staff
turnover in the Hotel Dorado Plaza belonging to the tourism sector, which presents a significant
rate of staff turnover in the operational area. Descriptive and quantitative research, where an
instrument (survey) was designed on a Likert scale, the survey of 24 closed questions evaluated
the perception of the staff of the hotel's operational area regarding the variables of Psychological
Well-being and Staff turnover.
