Abstract
In this investigation it will be stablish the caracteristics about self-concept, Emotions and social perceptions in a teenager with mild cognitive disability who is part of the inclusive education and one regular teenager as a classmates at Veinte de Julio IED hight school in Bogota, Colombia. This will be a qualitative research with a study case and a phenomenologic perspective using a Deep interview as tecnique, then by last the results were studied with a proper content analysis steps.
We did it around their inclusive educational experiences. The analysis identify the self-concept of each participant. It was observed that the regular teen’s self-concept is around self confidence, good humor sence, social inhibition and dominance. But in the other hand when we talk about the teen with mild cognitive disability she seemed to has a low self esteem, and a developed defense mechanisms and she internalizes everything that others say about her.
Regular teen´s social descrption about her class mates were negative attributions, she said they werw different and inferior. Moreover teen with mild cognitive disability said that regular teens were intolerant, unfeeling, listless and finally just one person, seemed her to be empatic.
At last, we can know the emotions that experiment the regular teen, this emotions are compassion, solidarity, she has positive emotional relationships ( with other teens like her) and self-protection emotions ( fear). However the other teen feel an emotional ambivalence, she has individualism feelings and she only has a positive emotional relationship.
