Abstract
Suicidal behavior in the soldiers of the Colombian National Army is a subject of interest to the World Health Organization, which recognizes the military population as a group that must be taken care of in the prevention of suicide. The following research is aimed at designing and estimating psychometric strength through the criteria of expert judges, a scale for the evaluation of risk factors for suicidal behavior in regular soldiers of the Colombian National Army. We worked with a sample of 9 psychologists who developed the role of expert judges with extensive knowledge in clinical research, creation and application of test batteries, interdisciplinary work, among others. Due to its characteristics, the research postulated is quantitative and the methodological design is descriptive. The validity of the scale is guaranteed through the validation of the content through the judgment of experts. The final result is a scale with 3 dimensions, 10 categories and 63 items, taking into account that these yielded a concordance index equal to or greater than 60%, this means that the behavior of the instrument in general terms is adequate, since its validity is appreciated.
