Abstract
Due to the problems that had been arising with the instability of saturated steam for the power generation process, sugar and its derivatives of sugar, due to repetitive stoppages, the obligation to evaluate this process was seen as it is one of the most amounts in the Carmelite ingenuity. It was decided to redesign the saturated steam process by installing an economizer in it is found stability, performance in the process, and at the same time obtaining significant savings in fuel (bagasse), and at the same time using this for sale, and thus obtained an economic benefit.
