Abstract
The commercialization and sale of vinyl paint represents a large part of the growing economic sector of construction in Colombia. However, at present most of the local hardware stores and specialized vinyl painting establishments sell and prepare colors in volumes lower than those provided by the manufacturer, completely manually, causing inaccuracy in the shades prepared and lost at not systematically calculating the proportions of volumes of colors to mix when trying to adjust a shade to the request or requirements of the client. It is noteworthy that there are currently computerized systems that can do this work effectively. However, its high cost precludes easy acquisition for the small business owner and thus increases their profitability. That is why the need arises to develop this project that contemplates the development and design of a simple and low-cost system, layers of dispensing volumes of paints and preparing colors automatically at the request of the client. This system bases its operation on a previously calculated standard of proportions of volumes and colors for the preparation of tones, as well as the implementation of a positive displacement pump that allows dosing and dispensing with high precision paint volumes assigned by the operator, taking as The main objective is to carry out this process in a systematic and automated way that facilitates increasing the quality of the product. The development of this Project will focus on using common materials that do not represent an excessive cost for its development and also allow the easy operation and acquisition by the hardware market of vinyl paints.
