Abstract
This proposed degree project is to obtain the title of Electromechanical Engineer, which aims to Design the lighting of the Plaza Antonio Nariño headquarters, with which the replacement of the current luminaires by ones with lower energy consumption and more light output thus achieving better energy efficiency which will reduce electricity consumption.
The requirement for this design arises from the need that this site currently presents since the luminaires do not comply with the technical lighting regulations in Colombia, which for Educational Institutions is mandatory.
We have destined for the design of this project a software to perform the simulation that will indicate how much the lighting of the place should be improved, determining the quantity and type of lamps to be installed, the type of wiring, and the power supply of this system.
With the design of this project, it is expected to have an energy benefit for the Antonio Nariño University, South headquarters.
A diagnosis of the current state of the electrical part of the plaza was made with the verifiable agents of the Retie and a report of these found data was issued
