Abstract
The theme of the present formulation of work of degree addresses the modern architecture of Guadalajara de Buga as cultural heritage of the city. Guadalajara de Buga preserves in its historical center one of the bulwarks most important architectural urban areas of the country. Different styles converge in its streets, giving the light of how over the years has been transformed the concept of habitat in the city. From the colonial style and conception of the conservative and austere home, passing by the republican style and his obsession with ornamentation and detail in its max-imum expression, until you reach the modern movement and its simple solutions, aesthetic and functional that enrich the urban landscape of a city that you bet to be, what it is today, a preserved village with memories of the rich history of the Colombian architecture. In this sense, the real estate of the modern movement that because of the dynamics real estate that has suffered the city have been relegated and it has therefore been ignored their patrimonial condition generating progressive loss of its characteristics. In this way, the aim of the present formulation of work of degree is to recognize the modern heritage of the city of Guadalajara de Buga exalting its urban architectural values - through a methodology with a qualitative approach of descriptive type, thus demonstrating the importance of context urban built in the city.
