Este trabajo investigativo tuvo como propósito principal. Analizar los gestos que utiliza
una diada brasilera y estadounidense durante una interacción presencial hablando español. Para
alcanzar dicho objetivo se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con diseño no experimental y enfoque
cuantitativo. Esta investigación se llevó a cabo con una diada compuesta por dos participantes el
sujeto 1 es una mujer brasilera, y el sujeto 2 es un hombre estadounidense, los cuales utilizan el
idioma español como segunda lengua para interactuar. El análisis de resultados permitió
establecer que durante la interaccion se hacen presentes frecuentemente los gestos que son
aprendidos culturalmente y que existen oportunidades en la cuales durante la interaccion los
sujetos tienden a generar una simultaneidad en sus movimientos gestuales.
Abstract
The main purpose of this research work was to Analyze the gestures used by a Brazilian
and American dyad during a face-to-face interaction speaking Spanish. To achieve this objective,
a descriptive study was carried out, with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach.
This investigation was carried out with a dyad composed of two participants, subject 1 is a
Brazilian woman, and subject 2 is an American man, who use the Spanish language as a second
language to interact. The analysis of results allowed to establish that during the interaction
gestures that are culturally learned are frequently present and that there are opportunities in which
during the interaction the subjects tend to generate a simultaneity in their gestural movements.
