Abstract
The objective of this research was to design a methodology that would allow to appreciate and characterize the occurrence of insight in the types of mathematical thinking convergent and divergent present in the resolution of problems by students, proposed in the classes of a course of the Degree in Mathematics in the University Antonio Narino.
