Abstract
This work analyzes the way in which new technologies are incorporated in the creation of hydrodynamic models for the supply of drinking water. For this, the different applications of hydrodynamic models in the administration of drinking water are identified, international experiences related to the use of new technologies for the creation of hydrodynamic models are analyzed, and hydrodynamic models based on new technologies that can be used to the supply of drinking water in Colombia.
The work is organized in three chapters; in the first one, the research problem is specified and the objectives to be developed are defined. The second chapter contains the development of the objectives, for which it is divided into seven sub-chapters, each one with specific topics related to the objectives and includes aspects such as the evolution of hydraulic models, the techniques for their modeling, the methods of analysis of these models, the evolution of the water supply models, the main equations used and the technological advances that today have accelerated the development and application of these models. The third chapter shows the conclusions of the work.
