Abstract
The Antonio Nariño University headquarters Villavicencio in its 24 years of operation has built several buildings, stages and spaces, in order to generate educational environments that contribute to the training of professionals, although several of these scenarios were designed when NTC 4595 did not yet exist. , norm that regulates the planning and design of school facilities and environments; Thus, research emerged so that the use of Facility Management tools sought to analyze the design of existing facilities and school environments at the Antonio Nariño University, Villavicencio headquarters, based on compliance with NTC 4595, as a contribution and adaptation to the improvement of the quality of university education (Cáceres Mari, 2016).
For the above, a research of a quantitative and descriptive type was developed, using Facility Management tools for the collection of information (in cards), taking as a sample the 18 areas into which the headquarters was divided.
The results show the diagnosis of school facilities and environments, the identification of nonconformities based on NTC 4595 and the formulation of alternative solutions to the detected observations.
