Abstract
The canine food sector has shown significant progress according to the
data mentioned by Euromonitor in its report for the period 2019 where it explains that the
increase in the economy of the industry is mainly due to the growing perception of
pets as a member of the family, which has led households to worry
more for their care, and this is reflected in their consumption of products aimed at animals. Although
economic and political uncertainties, the interest in providing pets with care
adequate has been internalized in the culture of Colombian families, because the owners
want to ensure that their companions are happy and healthy through products of
