Abstract
In this degree project, the design, implementation and start-up of an electro-pneumatic solar tracking system is carried out to be used in obtaining electrical energy from a renewable source such as photovoltaic energy, which is obtained by converting sunlight into electricity using a technology based on the photoelectric effect, to be used in various fields. The integration of this information allows the development of an electro-pneumatic vertical tracking system capable of orienting the photovoltaic panels in such a way that they can capture the greatest amount of solar radiation, this panel can rotate perpendicularly with an angle of 180 degrees every 12 hours and at its At the same time, capture the solar radiation that falls at angles less than 90 degrees with respect to the pneumatic cylinder rod. Through tests and records of variables such as the pressure in the pneumatic system, the temperature in the solar panel and the energy generated by the panels, a solution is offered to an economic and social problem from the analysis of engineering in order to take advantage of energy solar as a renewable source and to supply electricity to sectors lacking traditional electricity sources.
