La presente investigación aborda el tema de autoestima en mujeres víctimas de violencia de pareja, ya que es una problemática que afecta un gran porcentaje de mujeres en el país. En la mayoría de casos, muchas de las mujeres maltratadas, siguen teniendo contacto con el victimario; es decir, continúan su relación o trato con él después de la primera agresión, lo que puede conllevar a una modificación de sus estados emocionales.
Abstract
