Abstract
Motorcyclists are called vulnerable road users given their high risk of accidents, they represent almost 50% of the fatalities associated with traffic accidents. The main objective of this document is to construct a questionnaire to evaluate with a quantitative method the risk perception of young motorcyclists, given that it is the segment that contributes the highest number of victims annually, focused on the city of Cartago, where there is a total population of 134 thousand inhabitants and there are more than 70 thousand registered motorcycles. The theory is based on the concepts of cognition, risk perception, the social, road safety and traffic psychology.
