Abstract
This monograph endeavors to establish the relationship between the level of uncertainty and the level of caregiver overload in caregivers of family members with a chronic disease in Bogotá. For this purpose, a descriptive - quantitative was used correlational design method. The sociodemographic data were collected in conjunction with Mishel's Uncertainty Scale and Zarit's overload Scale. The surveys were conducted both in person and virtually, accompanied by informed consent. A total of 60 caregivers participated, of whom 47 were women with ages ranging from 18 to 78 years, a mean of 42.6, and a standard deviation of 15.5. 92% of the caregivers
