Abstract
The work carried out is the result of the improvement proposal designed for a company in the metalworking sector as an object of practices and methods used in the registration and control of indicators for the non-conforming product in the company JHL SA, these improvements were made having the opportunity From the verification of each piece by the quality area inspectors, what motivated this process is that at present the records of pieces declared as non-conforming are carried out manually in a format called non-conforming product and the pieces that are declared as compliant by the quality inspectors to know if they are compliant, they are only identified with the company's own quality seal, which visually shows that the parts are reviewed by the quality control process .
For the solution of the problem presented, three objectives were proposed, which are contextualized and developed one by one, resulting in the design of the appropriate improvement model to minimize the appearance of non-conforming product in the company JHL S.A
