Abstract
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a major health problem worldwide and It affects populations in both developed and developing countries, and is the third most common vascular condition after myocardial infarction and stroke cerebrovascular, with a hospitalization rate 100 times higher; Also, it is responsible 10 to 15% of hospital deaths. This condition is life-threatening in all the world and has a mortality rate of up to 30% in parts of Latin America, where The prevalence of thromboembolic disease is one of the main causes of illness.
