Abstract
The water and electric consumption is increasing at national rating, according to “Sistema de Información Ambiental de Colombia” (SIAC) and Unidad de Planeación Minero Energetica (UPME), the demand for the 2030 will be 107.514 GWH, compared to a Hydric demand 56.578,1 million m3(SIAC), the misuse of these vital public resources is worrying to produce it, the burning of petroleum derived fuels is used in the thermoelectric plants (30.7%) to their production, which causes GreenHouse Gases (GHG) emissions to the atmosphere increasing pollution.
Currently the National Goverment has incorporated the SDG (Sustaiable Development Goals) including strategies, specific actions and stadistics that aim to improve technology to have clean energy, bringing on growth and at the same time help the environment. The main sanitary battery of the Antonio Nariño University, Villavicencio headquarters, lacks an autonomous system that mitigates the inappropriate use of water and electrical energy, where the opportunity to carry out and implement an automated design that contributes to reducing the waste of these resources is identified vital audiences. For this, the critical points to intervene in the sanitary battery were identified, according to the hydrosanitary and electrical technical information (NTC and RETIE), the necessary lighting system for the unit and the type of water technology necessary for the project are calculated.
