Abstract
This degree project focuses on the indigenous reservation of the municipality of Chia, Cundinamarca. Whose main problem is the lack of ethno-educational equipment in the municipality, forcing children belonging to this ethnic group to receive a nineteenth-century education that leads to the loss of identity of this culture, this problem was analyzed by means of a graph showing the coverage ranges of the nearest indigenous school, in comparison with the Western schools in the municipality, serving this community regardless of the cultural deterioration that is being created (Annexe1).
Therefore, proposes the architectural design of an educational equipment Mhuysqa, taking into account the indigenous education system and understanding education as a way of transmitting, preserve, reproduce and build culture, capable of generating critical awareness (Niño, C. 2020) to optimize the integration of ethnicity with the rest of society, strengthening the cultural heritage and the recovery of the territory and its language. Additionally, economic, social and environmental sustainability strategies are incorporated, managing contact with different ONG to carry out the formal development of the project; in the design phase, account is taken of the use of educational equipment by the community to enhance the economic development of the community, allowing the use of cultural classrooms for craft production and sale. Finally, the aim is to reduce environmental impacts by proposing renewable energies and crops that incorporate the management of organic waste. Its construction includes the use of environmentally friendly materials; as land and wood, used from a crop dedicated to construction located in the municipality of Cota.
