dc.description.abstractThe present research evaluated the level of knowledge regarding the dental management of arterial hypertension among 58 dental students from Antonio Nariño University. The study was conducted using a descriptive and cross-sectional approach. A structured survey consisting of questions related to the definition of the disease, clinical signs, symptoms, and management of hypertensive patients in the dental office was used. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. Percentages were calculated to assess the students' level of knowledge regarding the different survey questions.eng
dc.description.abstractEn la presente investigación se evaluó el nivel de conocimiento sobre el manejo odontológico de la hipertensión arterial entre 58 estudiantes de odontología de la Universidad Antonio Nariño. El estudio se llevó a cabo mediante un enfoque descriptivo y transversal. Se utilizó una encuesta estructurada que constaba de preguntas relacionadas con la definición de la enfermedad, los signos clínicos, los síntomas y el manejo de pacientes hipertensos en el consultorio odontológico. Los datos recopilados fueron analizados mediante técnicas estadísticas descriptivas. Se calcularon porcentajes para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes en relación a las diferentes preguntas de la encuesta.spa
