Abstract
Due to the technological backwardness that exists in Colombia to effectively find the graves of bodies disappeared as a result of the conflict, it is necessary to seek new methods to try to better solve this problem. This project consists of finding a possible alternative to the search for common grave through the study of two mainly methods, the analysis of profiles of mechanical resistance of the soil with respect to depth using a Penetrologger and the analysis of profiles of electrical resistivity of the soil using an electrical tomograph in Dipole-Dipole mode and in Wenner mode; For this, three field trips were made to collect data in four simulated graves, and then relational analyzes of the data obtained in each grave for each field trip were carried out, besides that differentiating the data located inside and outside the graves to delimit them. The results obtained represent an advance for the search for graves in Colombia, since it was found that, in the type of terrain under study, the Wenner method is more effective than the Dipole-Dipole, and that the Penetrologger, although it does not determine by ifself only the existence of a grave, it serves as an aid to delimit them, the latter being the most versatile and user-friendly equipment.
