Abstract
Pathological aging has become a topic of interest due to the high impact and consequences that it has both on a social level and on public health. Due to the foregoing, mild cognitive impairment is taken as a transitional state of the cognitive changes present in older adulthood, this being the intermediate between normal and pathological aging, the group of individuals who refer to it is called mild cognitive impairment. some degree of cognitive deficit, but not with the severity to be classified as dementia. This process can be associated with aspects such as age, characteristics of the environment, underlying pathologies, among others. However, although multiple publications are evident, the fact of filtering and analyzing this information under specific criteria is a task that is not carried out frequently, for this reason the present project sought to analyze and describe the empirical articles published between 2010 and 2020 having Mild cognitive impairment and related biopsychosocial factors are considered as a category of analysis, using metasearch engines such as Publindex ScienceDirect, Scopus, Pubmed, SciELO and Scientific Electronic Library Online. The results analyze 15 published empirical articles which are considered suitable according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, it is identified that 34% corresponded to the analysis category of mild cognitive impairment, followed by biopsychosocial factors with 33% and finally a 33% of publications equivalent to scientific articles indicated a direct relationship between the category of cognitive impairment together with some biopsychosocial factors predisposing to it, with Colombia and Cuba being the countries with the highest publication.
