Item Caracterización energética y plan de mejoramiento en el sistema eléctrico del clinker l2 de la planta cementos del oriente sede Sogamoso(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Alfonso Ballesteros, Carlos Fernando; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidThe following project aims to characterize electrical energy in the manufacture of Clinker l2, a cement process from the eastern Sogamoso headquarters, which is divided into four areas: crude milling, homogenization, clinkerization, and coal grinding present on line 2 During the normal operation of this process, there were problems that generated stoppages in these areas, it was identified that these were generated by trips of motor protections, trip of totalizers and damage to electric motors, heating of conductors in the aforementioned areas. It was proposed to analyze the energy quality by updating the version of meters, software and equipment conditions present in the mentioned areas, giving way to criteria in reactive power and power factor; to reach a continuous improvement in the values of reliability, monitoring and detection of harmonics. The management in the effective selection of the meters was determined thanks to their versatility. This led us to obtain a greater analysis capacity in the electrical variables, therefore, the software has a dynamic compatibility in its interface, making it very friendly and easy. in its configuration; On the other hand, the data obtained in the equipment survey gave us an operation parameterization, as a consequence, more detailed analyzes of the performance of capacitor banks were achieved to confront the final results with the process that was being carried out.Item Diseño de Sistema Fotovoltaico y de Iluminación para el Laboratorio de Calibración y Ensayos de Medidores de la Empresa de Energía de Boyacá S.A ESP.(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Acuña Díaz, Fabio Leonardo; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidWith the elaboration of this project, it is proposed to carry out a study and diagnosis of the lighting of the Energy Testing and Calibration Laboratory of the Boyacá Energy Company (EBSA), in order to design a hybrid photovoltaic system to supply energy to the luminaires, leaving the electrical network as a backup and the remaining energy generated by the panels that is supplied to the company's network. In the study and design of lighting, measurements are made to make the diagnosis that allows showing how the current lighting is, this in order to analyze its improvement, complying with the requirements established by the standards and technical regulations. For the photovoltaic design, both the selection of components, such as: batteries, inverters, controllers and measurement equipment, as well as the different installation and generation calculations, in addition to the weight of the structure that supports the upper roof of the laboratory, are taken into account. Given that EBSA is interested in getting involved with the issue of renewable energies, seeking to align with national and international trends, it should be noted that photovoltaic systems contribute to the environment by reducing pollution. Through the elaboration of this project, it is intended to improve the lighting of the laboratory in order to avoid risks of power outages, since these affect the tests and calibrations that are provided as a service to private and internal customers of the Energy Company of Boyacá.Item Diseño e implementación de un simulador didáctico de control para una subestación eléctrica de doble barra con seccionador de transferencia acople.(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Rosas Ravelo, Germán Alexander; Velásquez Rincón, Oscar Javier; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidThis qualitative experimental project is developed based on a practical need in the undergraduate students of Electromechanical Engineering - Tunja Headquarters. The engineering of the project allows to obtain precise calculations of some subsystems that have a higher risk of failure, such as: the lightning protection system, the grounding system and the coordination of protections, with ensures a correct operation of the plant wastewater treatment. The cost of the project is determined from the electrical design and the technical characteristics of each equipment to be used, making a selection of the brand of equipment in general, Rockwell variable speed drives, ABB universal starters and general brand protections will be used. ABB and Schneider. The load required by the WWTP is 222 kVA, with most equipment at 480 V and 215 V and electrical wiring for XHHW-2 insulated AFD motors.Item Diseño fotovoltaico y estructural de un kiosco inteligente para la UAN sede Duitama(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Pérez Garcia, Juan Carlos; Márquez Torres, Diego Fernando; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidAntonio Nariño University in the city of Duitama-Boyacá, has a headquarters where you can find a state-of-the-art infrastructure and spaces that provide the opportunity to bring all the theoretical knowledge acquired to a practical part, so this document presents the design of a project which establishes the implementation of solar panels to run the collection of renewable energy, which are intended to generate energy to the facility, from solar irradiation, through an off-grid system (autonomous). The purpose is to transmit the collected energy to a point or place (kiosk), where people can approach and use this pleasant space as a study area or place of recreation with new technologies. The result is the structural design, the design of the photovoltaic system and the internal electrical installation, with its due planimetry and calculation memories, in which the respective implementation of the drawing software AUTOCAD and INVENTOR was carried out, to obtain these designs. In the document you will find exact data, which will help with the implementation of the design in the future. It should be noted that this project encourages all members of the Antonio Nariño community to take risks with research groups on renewable energy issues, promoting sustainable development and climate change mitigation, ensuring the appropriate use of these energies in society.Item Diseño y construcción de un banco de pruebas para pinzas amperimétricas(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Becerra Bonza, John Freddy; Chía Neira, Ricardo; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidThe objective of this project is the design and construction of a test bench for current clamps for the testing and calibration laboratory of Empresa de Energía de Boyacá S.A. E.S.P. (EBSA). This test will evaluate the absolute error of the current clamps owned by the company. Where the value read by the device is compared with the calculation value. The main components of the test bench are a cabinet, a Variac or variable transformer, a voltage transformer (gearbox), two current coils and measuring devices (digital voltmeter and ammeter). Through the Variac, voltage is injected to the voltage transformer and this will inject current to the coils, which by transformation ratio will increase the input current in a ratio of 1 to 109. This means that for each ampere that is injected to the current coil it increases it to 109 amps, up to a maximum range of 600 amps. Test were carried out with various types of clamps and in a different input current range and the results obtained were analyzed, which shows us that the bench complies with parameters required by the international standard (SIT/Tec-014/06 (Revision 0 of 2006-04-03). Making this project will allow us extend the scope of the laboratory with the purpose of characterize the quality of measuring amperes clamps own of EBSAItem Estudio de consumos energéticos y diseño de un banco de condensadores para la empresa Arenas industriales de Sogamoso(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Cardozo Vargas, Jhonatan; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidThe purpose of this study is to analyze energy consumption in the company “Arenas Industriales de Sogamoso”, in search of determining the current state of the electrical network, to identify the power factor of the same, then design a capacitor bank that allows it bring it to values close to unity. This work showed that reactive power consumption is 87.3% in relation to active power, and that the overall power factor of the installation is 0.523, this being a very low value, since it makes the end user susceptible to receive charges and penalties for excessive consumption of reactive energy, in according with resolution CREG 015-2018. In addition, a bank of capacitors was calculated with a total reactive compensation capacity of 27.8 KVAr, corresponding to the sum of the reactive compensation values defined for each of the inductive circuits in the electrical network. With the implementation of this bank of capacitors, it is estimated that the new power factor of the electrical network will reach a value of 0.997, thus achieving that the reactive power corresponds only to 7.7% of the active power and preventing the company “Arenas Industriales de Sogamoso” has to make payments for consumption in excess of reactive energy.Item Propuesta de diseño eléctrico y sistema fotovoltaico para la Universidad Antonio Nariño sede Tunja(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Robles Malagón, Jorge Leonardo; Betancourt Parra, Carlos Andrés; Rivera Niquepa, Juan DavidThis project was divided into 4 phases; in the first, a preliminary study and identification of the areas that currently make up the Antonio Nariño University, Tunja headquarters, based on a simplified architectural survey in order to outline the electrical distribution that was projected.
