Abstract
The objective of this work is to improve the understanding of the concepts of linear,
quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions with their properties through the
activities worked on the Desmos platform, in the eleventh grade students of the Liceo
Piñeros Cortés School.
For this, a methodology with a qualitative approach was used so that it could be
oriented to the construction of the concepts of the functions and their graphs, allowing
flexibility in their stages and development as in the affinity in the questions, the
participants were 20 students from grade eleven between the ages of 15 to 17 years.
These activities are based on the fundamentals of technology in the teaching of
mathematics, modeling as a didactic alternative in mathematics and the theory of
problem solving.
