Abstract
In this project, it will be explained how to simulate a monitoring system for industrial machinery,
specifically for a CNC milling machine in order to identify through Matlab software
if there is any type of chatter vibration in the machine at the time of the machining process.
working with different materials such as steel, stainless steel and aluminum defining
a milling process with their respective parameter models to characterize their dynamic
behavior that can cause surface finish, noise, and tool wear, being the most common failures;
doing an analysis to the readings that the measurements give and to the graphed
stability diagrams.
