Abstract

The internship model for this project is focused on carrying out different civil works activities, but which are concentrated on the maintenance of buildings and which contemplate the application of different construction systems for their realization. The company CONSTRUCCIONES FONSECA LTDA carries out all kinds of civil works and the function of this project is to provide technical support as an engineer in the development of different administrative activities that lead to good practices in their work. It must be taken into account that the maintenance work of buildings is a task that has been studied and analyzed in different countries and that is why different models and systems are already being carried out to evaluate the deterioration and maintenance costs of an infrastructure. Among the studies that have been carried out on the maintenance of infrastructure, there are some that speak to us of the importance of models of deterioration of buildings; they tell us: “Deterioration models are essential components of infrastructure management systems (IMS) because they predict the future condition of infrastructure facilities and, consequently, help optimize maintenance (Kwon et al., 2020) (Bonilha, 1985) ”.
