dc.description.abstract | Objectives: The objective of this instigation was to know the influence of nicotine and its biological effects on a group of genes involved in tooth movement in orthodontics. Methodology: Searches were carried out in the databases in which articles were selected that included randomized and non-randomized clinical trials, systematic reviews and original articles without language restriction and studies published from all years included in the relevant databases. For the search and selection of the articles, the genes involved in normal tooth movement reported by Huang et al., in 2014, were used as a basis. | eng |
dc.description.abstract | Objetivos: El objetivo de esta instigación fue conocer la influencia de la nicotina y sus efectos biológicos sobre un grupo de genes involucrados en el movimiento dental en ortodoncia. Metodología: Se realizaron búsquedas en las bases de datos en las cuales se seleccionaron artículos que incluían tipo ensayos clínicos aleatorizados, no aleatorizados, revisiones sistemáticas y artículos originales sin restricción de idioma y estudios publicados de todos los años incluidos en las bases de datos relevantes. Para la búsqueda y selección de los artículos se usaron como base los genes involucrados en el movimiento dental normal reportados por Huang et al., en el año 2014. | spa |
