Abstract
The VIS is built in response to the right of people to their own home. These VIS have a certain construction space that has some characteristics, called objective needs. These are mostly answered, but the psychological aspects of who inhabits the VIS are left aside. These aspects are called subjective needs. For adequate habitability to develop, both needs must be in balance. According to the above, the opportunity arises to achieve a balance of these needs from elements such as furniture, which has characteristics of subjective needs, also taking into account objective needs. The proposed design is applied to the feeding area, which consists of the dining room and kitchen. A group of furniture is proposed that seeks to meet these needs by applying the knowledge of industrial design to provide successful alternatives.
