Abstract
In the teaching and learning process of plane geometry, specifically in the construction of a robust meaning about the properties of some flat geometric figures, which still constitute failures in their learning. This research is aimed to design a variety of activities through interesting problems solved according to the framework of the phases proposed by Polya (1945). In the same it is emphasized the visualization, representation and heuristics as teaching tools and being based on Wenger’s proposal about communities of practice for working with students inside the classroom through different learning environments.
