Abstract
The development of financial inclusion in Colombia has come generating expectation for all Colombians regarding the use of the different financial products currently offered in the Colombian market, relating that bad decisions are made compared to the financial decisions of the market, generating an excessive problem of use of products and control of them, this research carried out at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia headquarters Neiva, highlights that relationship of university students in participation in relation to consumption, savings and investment in the Colombian market, shows the specific problems of overindebtedness in making economic and financial decisions. It was carried out through the application of a survey that served to measure the quantitative relationship of the measurable nature of the consumption, savings and investment relationship through factors such as: general and financial information, financial knowledge, attitudes of each of the students.
