Objective: Characterization of the oral main manifestations in HIV positive children in one foundation from Neiva City. Materials and Methods: Corresponds to descriptive research, with a correlational depth and cross section, which aims to solve the questions about the relationship between oral lesions and the development of dentition in children diagnosed with HIV positive, using a data collection instrument (Survey) which will be applied to a sample of 45 children in a foundation from Neiva. Results: The characteristics of the analyzed lesions include the type, size and shape: according to this it was identified that 57% of the population had red lesions smaller than 1 cm; 50% had white lesions less than 1 cm; 50% of red lesions are flattened and with respect to white lesions 86% also have a flattened shape. Conclusions: Is no relationship between age and the presence of oral lesions according to descriptive statistical analysis.Item Caracterización de las principales manifestaciones bucodentales en niños con VIH Positivo pertenecientes a una fundación de la ciudad de Neiva(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Charry García, Melissa Anggie Cuenca Cuadros, Marlio Andrés; Cometta, NatalyIntroduction: Oral lesions in patients with HIV is one of the first signs of this viral disease about deterioration of the immune system, these lessons can complicate the stability of the patient and therefore it is important to collect as much information is possible in order to establish not only its prevalence, but also the oral management that must be carried out. This is a very frequent oral and maxillary malformation, since according to the WHO, 1.5 out of every 1000 newborns present one of these anomalies. Embryologically, the lip and palate are formed independently in the fetus. Objective: To carry out a systematic review to determine the etiological factors that lead to the appearance of cleft lip and palate during gestation, by means of a systematic review of articles published between 2010 and 2020.Materials and Methods: This is a systematic review research, since the research articles to be analyzed in the systematic review are the result of quantitative research. Results: The etiology of this anomaly is multifactorial and genetic and environmental factors play a very important role. Conclusions: Breast milk offered during lactation contains micronutrients responsible for the growth and development of the child, which can help prevent the formation of cleft lip; however, the factors associated with economic strata are related to the fact that low strata have problems of access to health systems; the intake of tobacco and alcohol can contribute to the formation of LL Y PH.Item Manejo del paciente odontológico durante el periodo de la pandemia SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19): Revisión sistemática de la literatura(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Cuenca Cuevas, Valentina; Tovar Ibarra, Paula Camila; Rodríguez, Ana Valentina; Cometta, Nataly; García Rojas, Claudia LorenaThe SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) virus health crisis has been defined as a worldwide problem that to date has no cure and various protocols of control and biosafety measures for dental care during the pandemic due to covid-19, where it is intended to protect the service provider, support and the patient. The teeth affected by this pathology present less mineral, which is why they are more sensitive to changes in temperature and trauma, including masticatory shock, causing significant discomfort for the child due to the high sensitivity that it presents and in some cases it affects the aesthetic and emotional of the individual Objective: To carry out a systematic review to determine the Factors Related to Molar Incisor Hypomineralization in children according to scientific evidence. Objective: to determine the Factors Related to Inciso Molar Hypomineralization in children. Materials and Methods: The methodology used for the study comprises an integrative study based on a systematic review of the scientific literature in which the factors that influence MIH were selected and analyzed in detail. Results: From the analyzed articles, it can be deduced that IMH is of multifactorial origin and there is no specific cause established as an etiological factor and different systemic factors are associated. The prevalence varies between 2% and 40.8%, Conclusions: The difference found in prevalence is due to external conditions such as the economic level of a country, given that the more power they have, the more strengthened their health model can be.
