Abstract
The main objective of the business plan is to evaluate the feasibility of creating a beauty salon in the La Paz neighborhood of the city of Santa Marta, with the purpose of offering a space for relaxation and personal care for the inhabitants of the area. The research was carried out using a non-experimental descriptive approach, where data was collected through surveys using questionnaires. The sample consisted of 202 people aged between 18 and 70 years. The study is structured in two main parts. In the first part, a research methodology was used to collect data about the market and evaluate the services offered by the competition. These data were used to establish the business idea and formulate the premises of the business plan. In the second part, an economic study was carried out taking into account macroeconomic and market variables that will affect the business. Accounting and financial bases were developed for the business plan and sales and costs associated with the different services that will be offered in the beauty salon were projected.
