Abstract
The American Academy of Periodontology promulgated a new classification of periodontal disease, which has not yet been widely applied in Colombia, let alone studies of its prevalence in the country. Therefore, the present study aims to determine the prevalence of periodontal disease in adults over 18 years of age who attended the dental clinic of the Antonio Nariño University, Villavicencio campus 2020-2022.
