Abstract
The objective of this degree work is design didactic material for teaching ration and proportioning by means of mathematic modeling. In this sense, the students of cycle III (Grade Fifth) are exposed to problems with the purpose that they serve as a tool to facilitate the understanding of basic concepts of proportionality, since mathematical problems allow to the student, through activities based on real contexts, to strengthen their knowledge and mathematic concepts
