Abstract
The present work arose from the need to identify the meanings elaborated by the students about bullying in grade 8-1 of the Educational Institution "Escuela Normal Superior Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes” in the municipality of Zarzal in the department of Valle of the Cauca. For this, a hermeneutic paradigm oriented to research was implemented. qualitative of a phenomenological type; also for the development of this work were used as tools for the collection of information, observation, field diaries, interviews and formation of focus groups that allowed generating the categories of analysis of the information about the meanings constructed by students about bullying as they are: practices for conflict resolution, who can exercise and receive harassment school and the consequences that bullying can bring; All this from the perspective of the student
