Abstract
The objective of this research is to describe the forms of expression of emotional intelligence and regulation of aggressive behaviors of adolescents in the ninth grade of the Santa Inés Educational Institution in the municipality of Ansermanuevo Valle. This research has a qualitative approach, the type of research is phenomenological, with a focus on life skills, the research is based on main issues such as aggression defined by Albert Bandura - Odile Dot and other authors that develop in the theoretical framework, the WHO that
addresses life skills on the subject of emotional intelligence and behavior regulation. The results allowed establishing four (4) emerging categories for the development of data analysis: 1) self-knowledge 2) emotional intelligence 3) emotions 4) life skills, as a central axis for strengthening emotional intelligence.
