Abstract
This project as a result of the collaborative work between the Department of
Environmental Engineering and Industrial Design of the Antonio Nariño University, is carried
out in order to know how much methane gas can be produced from any organic residue that
enters fermentation or decomposition, in order to calculate on a large scale how much gas as a
source of renewable energy, heat or fuel, can be generated and what its potential will be in a
commercial or governmental environment. It also aims to show the advantages and
disadvantages of co-creation between different disciplines of knowledge with a common goal
that is problem solving.
