Abstract
This document shows the development of a device for capturing the movement of 5 portable inertial sensors, with a control unit, which has two cards inside, an Arduino Cheild type card for
wireless communication and a Chit kit data card to support the concepts of biomechanics and rehabilitation in the study of human gait. For the development of the prototype, human gait
concepts and capture protocols such as Davis, among others, were presented. With the theoretical information collected, an electronic machining was performed, taking into account a prototype
already established in the rehabilitation laboratory. The design of casings to be printed by means of the 3D printing technique was carried out to make the device an ergonomic device, a material
of high resistance to strong impacts was selected thinking about possible falls and to avoid breakages and affectations to the inertial sensors.
