Abstract
In Colombia, the use of solar energy as an energy resource has become a viable alternative for electricity generation; the use of this resource has been in constant growth as shown by UPME in 2018; in its report it indicates that the country Colombia went from having less than 30 MW in 2018, to more than 225 MW of installed capacity for power generation from non-conventional renewable sources, equivalent to the basic consumption of more than 200,000 homes. However, the lack of a common framework has caused the installation of photovoltaic systems to follow heterogeneous procedures, resulting in failures in such systems; this situation in turn has generated distrust among users and consequently could affect the growth of this type of technology in the country. Given the above, the objective of this project is to design a technical manual of connections and suggestions this manual will follow the Colombian standards that are aligned with this issue for different equipment. To develop the project we applied the concepts of electrical memory, requirements and formats established in the Technical Regulation of Electrical Installations (RETIE). As a result, greater expertise was obtained in the development of photovoltaic system projects, and the optimization of processes when the appropriate information is available, since thanks to the tax, economic and environmental benefits they are a great bet on the future as well as the contribution of processes with better precision and standardization pointed out in this work.
