Abstract
In a company that sells meat products, there have been shortcomings in the logistics processes related to the storage and dispatch of their products. After evaluating the situation, the proposal was made to optimize the results in these processes and minimize the loss of time and the complaints that have been made due to non-compliance. Within the proposal, the characterization of the processes developed in relation to the maquilas and the internal products that are produced by the company was carried out. In this characterization, each of the activities with their respective managers were detailed in order to achieve greater clarity at the time of operational management. Likewise, it was proposed to identify the storage areas and carry out a redistribution of the products to achieve better access according to their rotation. Finally, the indicators applicable to the process and that can be useful in the control and monitoring of the operation and the results obtained according to the objectives were raised.
