Abstract
The main objective of this project was to design a Jet Fan ventilation system for the
extraction of carbon monoxide in underground parking lots, from the concern for the little
or no natural ventilation that these spaces have, even more so when other levels rest on
them. of parking lots capable of producing a higher concentration of carbon monoxide. To
carry out this project, an underground parking lot in the city of Bogotá was visited, which
has a projection to raise four more levels of construction on its bases. Therefore, in this
parking lot with little natural ventilation, a planimetry of five parking levels was carried out,
taking as a basis the already existing underground parking lot, the determination of the air
required to reduce carbon monoxide, was calculated taking the geographical
characteristics of the location and by means of the international formulas required for these
calculations it was possible to obtain even the number of equipment required to install the
Jet Fan. While the establishment of the fan location points was calculated by exporting the
plans to a free version of SolidWorks and entering the sizing data and number of equipment
allowed to simulate the location points for the fans. A selection process was also carried
out for the equipment required for the installation if it is to be carried out in the determined
area
