Abstract
This project is designed in accordance with each of the processes that must be considered when creating a system of management qualification for a health entity. Familiarization of the aforementioned documentary processes that have to be completed when developing or executing an institutional maintenance plan is of great importance because the very standardization of it is dependent on this documentation. Therefore, being knowledgeable about the relevant norms and regulations is necessary in order to provide security and confidence in the management of biomedical equipment in any health center regardless of the level of complexity of the equipment.
In order to present a quality and control process to government entities, it is necessary to understand that due to participation from the engineering laboratory, each one of these documents was developed to fully complete the objectives proposed in this project.
Upon successfully identifying each process and its importance in the area of health, developing and elaborating documents of vital importance, and in procedural order, we take up a definitive and complete process based on the 2019 resolution 3100.
This job reflects the importance of documenting each predictive, preventive, and corrective management of the biomedical equipment, that consequently provides traceability that helps identify frequent failures, types of replacements, and to determine useful life and specific cares that need to be taken with certain biomedical equipment.
We wish to develop a preventative maintenance plan that would involve maintenance routines, calibration schedules and metrological certification, quick handling guides, and resumés in order to complete the documentation process of the biomedical equipment.
Additionally, it allows us to identify the importance of the department of Biomedical Maintenance within the organized structure of a health entity, since it is because of this department that certain types of technologies are recommended for use, keeping in mind its physical technical characteristics of installation.
