Abstract
It presents the theoretical principles, related to particulate material, which is one of the most studied atmospheric pollutants in the world, this is defined as the set of solid and / or liquid particles (except for pure water) present in suspension in the atmosphere, which originate from a wide variety of natural or anthropogenic sources and possess a wide range of morphological, physical, chemical and thermodynamic properties. The purpose of the manual that is finally consolidated is to present the use of new control technologies that allow the introduction of focused extraction systems in industrial production processes in order to greatly minimize the generation of particulate material, since the presence in the atmosphere of this pollutant causes a variety of impacts on vegetation, materials and man. Furthermore, the presence of particulate matter is associated with an increased risk of death from cardiopulmonary causes in adult samples.
